Mechanical

Full unit and building HVAC modeling. Tight cross-discipline coordination.

Overview

Our mechanical team produces HVAC design and modeling from dwelling-unit level through central plant. Because we sit inside a multi-discipline firm, coordination with architectural, structural, and the rest of MEP happens upstream. Not after the clash report. We use Dynamo scripting to automate repetitive modeling tasks and enforce BIM standards across equipment, ductwork, and piping families.

Design-Build BIM Coordination

Our mechanical team goes beyond design-phase modeling. We produce coordination-ready and fabrication-grade shop drawings for design-build mechanical contractors, participating directly in GC-hosted weekly clash coordination meetings alongside all other trades. Our models are developed to the level of detail required for true clash-free coordination, not just design intent. We exchange detailed models with structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection teams in live coordination sessions, resolve conflicts in real time, and produce the final shop drawings for field distribution. This is BIM coordination at the subcontractor level, not the consultant level.
